Stephen Payne was a hero against FC Porto B, after scored the goal that gave a victory to Varzim, as we can read in O Jogo, portuguese sport’s newspaper.
“It was fantastic to score for the first time and decide the match, helping the Varzim to stay in II League. We are closer to our goal. I ask the supporters to keep the fantastic support in the game with the Famalicão”, said the young player.
He explains how he scored the goal: “I saw that I have to appeared in the box: I was lucky at the first shot and the ball was left for me. It was an unforgettable moment”.
Stephen Payne has a big dream: “I have already fulfilled the dream of playing in European football and I want to play in the Champions League”.
